StratoSync Privacy Policy

If users do not agree with this Policy, they should immediately stop using this Software. After modification, users will be notified through this Software pop-up windows, notifications, etc., and the modified terms will take effect from the day of notification. Users‘ continued use of this Software is considered to accept the modified Policy.

1. Definition and Applicability Scope

1.1 Definitions

1.1.1 Personal Information: Means information that can identify a specific natural person individually or in combination with other information, including but not limited to names, email addresses, device information, network information, usage records, etc.

1.2.1 This Policy applies to the entire process of users using all features and services of this Software, including but not limited to software downloads, installation, registration, login, video playback, collection, sharing, etc.

1.2.2 This Policy does not apply to third-party services. The privacy policies of third-party services are determined by themselves. This Software assumes no responsibility for protecting the privacy of third-party services. Users should carefully read their privacy policies when using third-party services.

2.2.3 Usage behavior information: During users‘ use of this Software, we will collect relevant usage behavior information, including but not limited to video playback history, favorite lists, viewing time, search history, playback settings (such as image quality, volume), software operation logs, etc., for personalized recommendations, feature optimization, and troubleshooting.

2.2.4 Network Information: To ensure the stability of network connectivity, we will collect network information from users, including but not limited to IP addresses, network carriers, network connectivity status, etc., for network troubleshooting and service optimization.

2.2.5 Other Information: Feedback comments, complaints, etc. that users voluntarily provide to this Software, we will collect and use for troubleshooting and service improvement.

3. Information Usage

3.1 Purpose of Use

3.1.1 Provide Core Services: Use the collected information to provide users with the core functions of this Software, such as video playback, account management, favorites, sharing, etc., to ensure the proper operation of the Service.

3.1.2 Optimize user experience: Based on user usage behavior information, optimize the software interface, feature layout, provide personalized video recommendations, and improve user experience.

3.1.3 Ensure Account Security: Identify abnormal login behavior through device information, network information, etc., prevent account theft, fraud, etc., and ensure user account security.

3.1.4 Troubleshooting and Improvements: Leveraging software operation logs, device information, etc., to troubleshoot errors in software execution, fix vulnerabilities, and improve software stability and security.

3.1.5 Service Notification: By sending software update notifications, account security alerts, service-related announcements, etc. via user-provided email, ensure that users are kept up to date with the relevant activity of this Software.

3.2 Use Restrictions

3.2.1 Not exceeding collection purposes: Use of user personal information only within the scope of the purposes of use specified in this Policy, and may not be used for purposes unrelated to this Software Services.

3.2.2 Anonymization Processing: After anonymizing and de-identifying the user‘s personal information, it can be used for statistical analysis, service optimization, etc. This class of anonymized data does not have the ability to identify the user‘s identity.

4. Information Storage

4.1 Storage locations: User personal information will be stored on servers that comply with international privacy protection standards, including but not limited to regions such as the European Union, the United States, and others, all of which have comprehensive security measures.

4.2 Storage period: User personal information will be stored only for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes of use stipulated in this Policy. After the period is exceeded, user personal information will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with international general standards and the requirements of relevant laws and regulations.

4.2.1 Account Information: When a user‘s account is in an active state, its account information will be continuously stored; after a user signs out of their account, all account-related information will be deleted or anonymized within 15 business days.

4.2.2 Usage Behavior Information: Stored for a period of up to 12 months, after which it will be automatically deleted or anonymized.

4.2.3 Troubleshooting logs: The storage period is not greater than 6 months, and after troubleshooting is complete, the relevant log information will be promptly deleted or anonymized.

4.3 Storage security: Adopting internationally advanced encryption technologies (including but not limited to AES-256 encryption, SSL/TLS transmission encryption), encrypting the storage and transmission of user personal information to prevent risks such as information leakage, tampering, and loss; establishing a well-established security management system, limiting internal personnel‘s access to user information, and conducting regular security audits and vulnerability detection.

5. Information Transfer and Disclosure

5.1 Information Transfer: The transfer of the user‘s personal information will use cryptographic technology to ensure the security of the information during the transfer process; the transfer will only take place between servers that comply with international privacy protection standards as necessary for the implementation of this software service.

5.2 Information Disclosure: We will strictly protect the user‘s personal information and will not disclose the user’s personal information to any unrelated third parties, except in the following circumstances:

5.2.1 Obtaining explicit consent from the user: Disclosure of relevant information to third parties designated by the user, under the circumstances of explicit authorization from the user.

5.2.2 Enforcement of legal obligations: Disclosure of user personal information in accordance with relevant international laws and regulations, judicial authorities, or administrative authorities.

5.2.3 Ensuring the proper operation of services: Disclosure of necessary user information to third parties providing services for the Software such as technical support, server hosting, data analysis, etc. (such third parties have signed a privacy protection agreement, committed to strictly protecting user information, and are used only to provide services for the Software).

5.2.4 Protecting Legitimate Interests: To protect the legitimate interests of users, this Software, or third parties, in an emergency, we may disclose necessary user information (such as preventing account theft, dealing with fraud, etc.).

5.2.5 Anonymizing Disclosure: After anonymizing and de-identifying the user‘s personal information, such data may be disclosed to third parties for statistical analysis, academic research, and other purposes.

6. User Rights

6.1 Access rights: Users have the right to access their personal information, including account information, usage behavior information, etc., which can be accessed through the “Personal Center - Privacy Settings” feature of this Software.

6.2 Correction Right: If users discover that their personal information is incorrect or incomplete and have the right to request correction, they can apply for correction through this Software feedback channel or by contacting Customer Service email. We will review and process the request within 5 working days.

6.3 Right to Delete: Users have the right to request the deletion of their personal information, which can be requested through the “Personal Center - Privacy Settings” of this Software, or by contacting Customer Service email. We will complete the deletion or anonymization process within 15 working days (except as otherwise stipulated by law and regulations).

6.4 Right to withdraw consent: Users have the right to withdraw their consent to the collection and use of personal information by the Software. Users can disable the right to collect such information through the Software‘s “Personal Center - Privacy Settings”. After withdrawing consent, the Software will no longer collect such information, but this does not affect the legal use of the information collected before the withdrawal.

6.5 Sign-out right: Users have the right to sign out of their Software account. After signing out of the account, we will delete or anonymize all personal information processed by the user. The user will no longer be able to log in to the Software using that account, and the related account data will not be recoverable.

6.6 Right to Complaint: If a user believes that the information processing behavior of this Software violates their privacy rights, we will respond to and handle complaints via customer service email as stipulated in this Policy within 7 working days.

7. Third-party service descriptions

7.1 This Software may integrate or link to third-party services, including but not limited to third-party video sources, advertising services, payment services, data analysis services, etc., third-party services that may collect relevant information about users.

7.2 This Software provides only links or integration entrances to third-party services. It does not control the information collection behavior of third-party services. The privacy policies of third-party services are determined by themselves. When users use third-party services, they should carefully read their privacy policies and understand their information collection and usage rules.

7.3 If users do not consent to third-party services collecting their information, they can choose not to use those third-party services, or turn off the right to collect information through the settings of the third-party services themselves.

8. Privacy Protection for Minors

8.1 This Software is not intended for use by minors under the age of 18. If a minor uses this Software, it must be done with the consent of their guardian, who should assist the minor in protecting their personal information.

8.2 If we discover that a minor has used this Software without the consent of their guardian and collected their personal information, we will immediately delete the relevant information, notify their guardian, and stop providing the service to that minor.
